Located on the Mary Jane side at Winter Park, the infamous short but sweet and steep chutes are only accessible through controlled gates. Their given names are Hole in the Wall, Awe Chute, Baldy's Chute, Jeff's Chute and Runaway. Below are some general photos of this pristine area.

- Colorado Pass prices go up October 15th, 2006. The pass promotion ends November 6th, 2006.
The pass provides:
• Unlimited, unrestricted skiing and riding at Keystone, Breckenridge and Arapahoe Basin
• 10 days skiing and riding at Vail and Beaver Creek.
• The Colorado Pass is restricted at Vail and Beaver Creek November 24-25, 2006; December 27-31, 2006; and February 17-18, 2007.
• Price: $399 adult, $299 teen, $189 child

THE RESORTS:
- Last year was a record setting season, bringing in the highest snow depths the area has ever seen.
-The Stone Creek photos are from a new area at Beaver Creek that is opening to the public this Winter. Stone Creek is a 180 acre expansion of extreme terrain, with steeps, chutes, trees, and cliff drops.
-The World Cup events at Beaver Creek are the only stop for the World Cup in the US. This draws the top alpine skiers in the world to BC from Nov. 28 - Dec. 3, to tackle the legendary Birds of Prey downhill course. Downhill, giant slalom, slalom, and a combined downhill/slalom event take place over these 6 days.
-This season, the main terrain park at Vail, Golden Peak Terrain Park, is being renamed to The Fly Zone.
-Every Wednesday night, Vail hosts free street concerts at Checkpoint Charlie, in the heart of Vail Village.
